HiViPrism Cinema HDR – UST-optimized CLR/ALR Contrast Fabric (Gain 0.85) with High-Contrast-Layer

Important information about fabric cuts

This item consists exclusively of a fully functional, defect-free projection screen fabric supplied as a material cut. The fabrics may come from surplus stock, special or non-standard fabric dimensions, or from fixed-frame screen sets in which the frame or other components are damaged or no longer usable. The projection fabric itself is technically flawless and free from defects.

The fabric is not sold as a made-to-fit replacement fabric for an existing HiViLux fixed-frame screen. We therefore do not guarantee that existing mounting points or the outer dimensions of the fabric will match an existing HiViLux frame.

We guarantee a usable projection area of at least the stated size. As a rule, the fabric has at least approx. 3 cm of additional material around each side beyond the stated usable dimensions.

The fabrics are particularly suitable for DIY projects and self-built wooden or metal frames.

Only the projection fabric is included. No fastening, tensioning or mounting hardware is included. The customer must provide a suitable method of fastening and evenly tensioning the fabric on their own frame construction.

The gray high-contrast base with a gain of 0.85 also supports a balanced image effect:
  • deeper black levels for more image depth
  • significantly higher contrast dynamics in brighter environments
  • richer color depth and clearer HDR gradations
  • reduced brightening of ceiling and furniture due to directed reflection
  • 3D Compatible: Suitable for active 3D projection with compatible projectors and shutter glasses.
The result: A UST-specialized CLR/ALR high-contrast fabric with a High-Contrast-Layer (Gain 0.85) for a significantly more contrast-rich, brilliant image in the living room – optimized for laser TV/ultra-short throw setups.

Care & cleaning

The projection fabric is easy to maintain and can be cleaned when necessary. Dust can be removed with a soft duster or cloth. More persistent dirt or grease marks can be wiped carefully with a soft, damp cloth. If necessary, a mild, neutral cleaner can also be used.
