xHiViGrey Cinema 0.8 – Universal Contrast Screen in Elegant Light Grey
The grey base of the 0.8 gain material offers clear advantages in everyday use:
- visibly improved black level compared to white screens
- balanced contrast representation even with residual light in the room
- natural, unadulterated color reproduction without over-saturation
- wide viewing angle stability for flexible seating positions
The moderate gain of 0.8 reduces excess light, making the image less prone to washout and appearing more harmonious overall.
The result: A balanced all-round screen for realistic colors, stable contrasts and a pleasant cinematic viewing experience in daily use.
Ceiling Installation TID Series – Invisible Integration with Tension System
Technical features of the casing:
- full ceiling installation – almost invisible when retracted
- shallow installation depth of only 13 cm – particularly suitable for limited ceiling space
- Tab-Tension system – permanently perfect flatness without waves
- stable aluminum cassette – torsion-resistant, durable and neatly integrated
- quiet tubular motor – smooth and even operation
- ideal for drywall and demanding residential installations
The combination of inconspicuous ceiling installation, shallow installation depth and lateral fabric tension ensures an elegant overall solution with a permanently flat projection surface – crucial for high-quality 4K and 8K projection.
The result: A professional built-in screen with a perfect image surface and a particularly shallow installation depth – ideal for modern home cinema and living room concepts.
Suitable for / Not recommended for / Alternative
Suitable for: standard-throw and long-throw and also UST when dedicated CLR is not required.
Not recommended for: UST when maximum CLR is required; RGB triple-laser when speckle is the main issue.
Alternative: UST with CLR priority → HiViPrism Cinema HDR CLR; RGB triple-laser → HiViGrey Cinema 3L.
