Description
xHiViGrey Cinema 5D – ALR High Contrast (Gain 1.1) for bright rooms & true HDR experience
The grey high-contrast basis of the 5D material provides:
- visibly deeper black tones and higher contrast dynamics
- richer, more intense colors – ideal for HDR content
- significantly reduced washout in ambient light
- high image brightness with consistently stable homogeneity (Gain 1.1)
Compared to classic white or simple grey screens, the HiViGrey Cinema 5D particularly shows its strength in brighter environments: details are retained, contrasts appear clearly defined, and the image gains significantly in depth and brilliance.
The result: A powerful ALR screen with Gain 1.1 for all who do not want to compromise on high brightness, strong contrasts and brilliant HDR playback, even in the living room.
Ceiling Recess TID Series – invisible integration with Tension System
Technical features of the housing:
- full ceiling recess – almost invisible when retracted
- low installation depth of only 13 cm – particularly suitable for limited ceiling space
- Tab-Tension system – permanently perfect flatness without waves
- stable aluminum casing – torsion-resistant, durable, and cleanly integrated
- quiet tubular motor – smooth and quiet operation
- ideal for drywall and sophisticated living room installations
The combination of inconspicuous ceiling recess, low installation depth, and lateral fabric tension ensures an elegant overall solution with a permanently flat projection surface – crucial for high-quality 4K and 8K projection.
The result: A professional recessed screen with a perfect image surface and particularly low installation depth – ideal for modern home cinema and living room concepts.
Suitable for / Not recommended for / Alternative
Suitable for: standard-throw and long-throw, ambient light and higher-contrast HDR.
Not recommended for: UST / Laser TV; RGB triple-laser when speckle is disturbing.

Seamless one-piece projection surface
The projection fabric is made from one continuous piece of material. There are no joined, welded or sewn sections within the visible projection area, so there are no distracting seam or brightness lines. This keeps the image homogeneous and visually consistent across the entire surface.
