HiViGrey Cinema SD – grey acoustically transparent anti-speckle fabric for RGB triple-laser (Gain 0.85)

For home cinema with speakers behind the screen and modern RGB triple-laser projectors.

HiViGrey Cinema SD combines a finely woven, acoustically transparent projection surface with reduced perception of laser speckle. The grey base supports a better subjective black level and natural contrast while maintaining balanced brightness and a wide viewing angle.

  • Acoustically transparent: finely woven structure for centre and front speakers behind the projection surface
  • Anti-speckle for RGB triple-laser: visibly calmer image reproduction
  • Gain 0.85: balanced brightness with a grey contrast base
  • Wide viewing angle: even light distribution without a pronounced hotspot
  • For standard-throw and long-throw projectors
  • 3D Compatible: Suitable for active 3D projection with compatible projectors and shutter glasses.

An acoustically transparent grey projection surface with natural colour reproduction, improved black level and reduced speckle perception – ideal for high-quality RGB triple-laser home cinemas.

HiViLux® FT Series – floor-rising tension motorized screen with flexible placement

Mechanics & construction – key features
  • Free-standing floor construction: quick, flexible placement without permanent wall or ceiling installation.
  • Acoustically transparent lower drop: the lower section between the image area and housing is made from microperforated, acoustically transparent material. Speakers or a soundbar can therefore be positioned behind it. With HiViGrey Cinema SD, the actual projection surface is also acoustically transparent.
  • Side tension system: even lateral tension helps reduce edge waves and supports a flat projection surface.
  • Reinforced housing & stable base: robust construction for high rigidity, secure placement and durable mechanics.
  • Quiet, powerful motor: reliable raising and lowering with low operating noise.
  • Up to 150 inches (16:9): large-format cinema without permanent installation.

Continuously adjustable drop height: adjustable from 0 to the maximum drop height; the selected extension position can be saved. Height adjustment does not compromise the flatness of the projection surface.

Optional equipment

  • IR remote control + trigger (optional): convenient infrared control and trigger operation for automatic raising/lowering.
  • Wall bracket (optional): for additional fixing or placement depending on the room concept.

Care & cleaning

The screen surface is easy to maintain. Remove dust with a soft duster or cloth. More persistent dirt or grease can be wiped carefully with a soft, damp cloth; if necessary, use a mild neutral cleaner.

Seamless one-piece projection surface

The projection fabric is made from one continuous piece of material. There are no joined, welded or sewn sections in the visible projection area, so there are no distracting seams or brightness lines.
