HiViGrey Cinema SD – Woven Projection Screen Fabric (Gain 0.85) for Home Theater with RGB Laser Projectors

The finely woven fabric structure offers significant advantages:

  • Reduced laser speckle for a smoother and more uniform image (Gain 0.85)
  • Acoustically transparent – ideal for speakers placed behind the screen
  • Natural color reproduction with a soft, cinematic image character
  • Even light distribution without hotspot effects
  • Wide viewing angle for consistent image quality from virtually any seating position
The result: A premium woven acoustically transparent projection screen fabric with a Gain of 0.85 – developed for RGB triple-laser projectors and demanding home theaters, delivering natural color reproduction, balanced brightness and an authentic cinematic experience.

HiViLux® TXN Series – Tension Motorized Projection Screen with Dual-Tension System & Reinforced Housing

The TXN Series combines a reinforced housing with a precision-guided screen system to ensure a permanently flat projection surface – ideal for both living rooms and dedicated home theaters.

Key features of the mechanics and construction:

  • Dual-Tension System: Horizontal and vertical tension for an exceptionally flat projection surface.
  • Tab-Tension (side cable tension): Minimizes edge waves and maintains uniform screen tension.
  • Reinforced, torsion-resistant housing: Provides excellent stability, smooth operation and long-lasting durability.
  • Quiet, powerful motor: Reliable screen movement with low operating noise.
  • Plug & Play: No electrical installation required – simply connect and enjoy.
  • 2-in-1 90° mounting brackets: Suitable for both wall and ceiling installation (depending on model/configuration).
  • Flexible control options (optional): IR remote control and trigger; RF remote and wall switch depending on configuration.

Suitable for / Not recommended for / Alternative

Suitable for: RGB triple-laser and acoustically transparent installations with standard-throw and long-throw projectors.

Not recommended for: UST / Laser TV.

Alternative: without acoustic transparency → HiViGrey Cinema 3L; UST / Laser TV → HiViPrism Cinema HDR CLR.

Seamless one-piece projection surface

The projection fabric is made from one continuous piece of material. There are no joined, welded or sewn sections within the visible projection area, so there are no distracting seam or brightness lines. This keeps the image homogeneous and visually consistent across the entire surface.

Available Options: Aspect Ratio & Warranty

Please select your preferred configuration:

  • 16:9 HD Widescreen or 21:9 Cinemascope aspect ratio
  • 2-year or optional 5-year warranty

HiViLux – High-End Audio Video Technology

For over 15 years, HiViLux has been developing premium audio and video products for the highest demands. German engineering for the ultimate home theater experience.

Power connection & Plug & Play: Viewed from the front of the screen, the power connection is located on the right-hand side of the housing. The TXN series uses a detachable IEC power inlet and is supplied with a 5 m removable power cable. No fixed wiring or electrician connection is required: mount the screen, plug in the power cable and it is ready to use. If the cable needs to be routed neatly to the left-hand side, a cable duct can be fitted to the rear of the housing.

  • Continuously adjustable drop height: The drop can be set to any height from 0 up to its maximum; the selected extension position can be saved. Adjusting the height does not affect the flatness of the projection surface.
  • Adjustable tab tension: The side tension cords can be retensioned as needed to optimize their tension.
