Description
xHiViGrey Cinema SD – Grey acoustically transparent anti-speckle fabric (Gain 0.85)
HiViGrey Cinema SD is a finely woven grey screen fabric that reduces visible speckle with RGB triple-laser projectors, while maintaining natural contrast, wide viewing angles and acoustic transparency. For standard-throw and long-throw projectors, not UST.
TID recessed ceiling tension screen
Discreet ceiling integration with only 13 cm installation depth, a rigid aluminium cassette, quiet tubular motor and side tab-tensioning for a flat screen surface.
Adjustable drop height: The drop can be continuously adjusted from zero to its maximum height. The desired stopping position can be saved without affecting screen flatness.
Seamless projection fabric
The visible image area is made from a continuous piece of fabric without seams, welded joints or brightness lines.
Recommended use
Home cinema with speakers behind the screen, RGB triple-laser projectors and rooms with controlled ambient lighting. Not recommended for UST or strongly illuminated rooms.
Alternatives
For UST choose HiViPrism Cinema HDR CLR. For acoustic ambient-light rejection consider HiViGrey Cinema 5DMP.
Variants and warranty
16:9 HD or 21:9 CinemaScope; two-year warranty or optional five-year warranty.
Additional technical details
The grey, finely woven HiViGrey Cinema SD fabric (gain 0.85) offers improved perceived black levels, balanced brightness and a wide viewing angle. Its acoustically transparent structure allows sound from speakers behind the screen to pass through, while reducing visible speckle from RGB triple-laser projectors.
The TID recessed-ceiling screen is designed for almost invisible integration when retracted. Its aluminium cassette has an installation depth of just 13 cm, suitable for drywall and demanding residential installations. The quiet tubular motor and side tab-tensioning help maintain a smooth, flat projection surface for 4K and 8K viewing.
The visible projection surface is made from one continuous fabric panel, without joined, welded or sewn sections, avoiding visible seams or brightness lines.
Recommended: acoustically transparent home cinemas with speakers behind the screen, controlled ambient light, standard- or long-throw projectors and RGB triple-laser projectors.
Not recommended: rooms with substantial ambient light or UST / Laser TV projectors. For stronger ALR performance with acoustic transparency, consider HiViGrey Cinema 5DMP; for UST / Laser TV, HiViPrism Cinema HDR CLR.
