The HiViLux® Tension Motor Screen with CLR surface for UST projectors (Gain 0.85, viewing angle 178°) combines modern projection technology with an elegant, high-quality design. The special microstructure is designed to direct the light from an ultra-short-throw projector specifically to eye level, while effectively suppressing ambient light (e.g. ceiling/pendant lights) coming from above. The gray high-contrast coating significantly improves black levels and contrast – especially in ambient light – and ensures a calmer, more homogeneous image with clear details and richer color depth.

Perfect flatness thanks to Dual-Tension

The special dual-tensioning system works horizontally and vertically and ensures a permanently flat, wrinkle-free image surface – without ripples. Ideal for precise geometry, clean edges, and demanding home cinema installations.

HiViGrey CLR UST 0.85 – controlled reflection for maximum UST image quality

The HiViLux CLR/UST technology (Gain 0.85) is specially developed for ultra-short throw projectors and delivers a convincingly high-contrast image even in ambient light. The directed microstructure specifically controls reflection to eye level and simultaneously reduces light coming from above (e.g. ceiling or pendant lights). Instead of brightening the room, ceiling, or furniture, the light remains where it belongs: on the image surface. The result: deeper black levels, noticeably more contrast, and richer color depth – for a calmer, more homogeneous image with clear details.

RF radio control & housing in black or white

The robust aluminum housing is available in black or white and blends harmoniously into any room aesthetic. The integrated RF radio system enables reliable control up to 20m range – even without direct line of sight.

Variants: Aspect ratio, housing color & warranty

Please choose your variant:

  • Aspect ratio 16:9 HD Widescreen or 21:9 Cinemascope
  • Housing color: Black or White
  • Warranty: 2 years or 5 years (optional)

Suitable for / Not recommended for / Alternative

Suitable for:

  • UST projectors
  • Laser TV
  • Living rooms with ambient light
  • Users seeking higher contrast and deeper blacks with UST projection

Not recommended for:

  • Standard-throw or long-throw projectors

Alternative:

  • For standard-throw and long-throw with ambient light: HiViGrey Cinema 5D/HDR
  • For RGB triple-laser standard-throw and long-throw: HiViGrey Cinema 3L
Seamless one-piece projection surface

The projection fabric is made from one continuous piece of material. There are no joined, welded or sewn sections within the visible projection area, so there are no distracting seam or brightness lines. This keeps the image homogeneous and visually consistent across the entire surface.

Power connection & Plug & Play: Viewed from the front of the screen, the power connection is located on the right-hand side of the housing. The TXN series uses a detachable IEC power inlet and is supplied with a 5 m removable power cable. No fixed wiring or electrician connection is required: mount the screen, plug in the power cable and it is ready to use. If the cable needs to be routed neatly to the left-hand side, a cable duct can be fitted to the rear of the housing.

Continuously adjustable drop height: The drop can be set to any height from 0 up to its maximum; the selected extension position can be saved. Adjusting the height does not affect the flatness of the projection surface. Adjustable tab tension: The side tension cords can be retensioned as needed to optimize their tension.
